Jenn Mong is a pianist, improviser and educator based in Montréal, primarily involved in the performance of contemporary works on the concert stage and collaboration with composers to create and premiere new works. Outside of the classical music sphere, Jenn also composes, DJs, and produces electronic music. Jenn draws ideas from both the traditional classical canon as well as contemporary electronic music of today, with an ethos of simultaneously making classical music more accessible and appealing to a modern audience, while pushing the boundaries of what is possible in classical music by incorporating new technologies, unconventional instruments, and non-traditional musical structures.
